Colorado State Senators are considering a bill that would remonetize both gold and silver as legal tender currency in the state of Colorado, following the similar measure already passed in the state of Utah last year. As many as 12 other states currently have similar bills in progress in state legislatures.

“Over history just about every country in the world that has had a serious debt crisis has intentionally inflated their currency,” Sen. Kent Lambert, R, told KCNC’s Michelle Griego.
